Nike

Nike is run from Beaverton, Oregon, and NIKE, Inc. also takes in Converse and Jordan. The story starts with Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman, who began as Blue Ribbon Sports and sold their first pairs from the trunk of a car. They were after lighter, more durable running shoes, and that search grew into one of the most recognised sportswear names around. Nike still sits at the centre of both athletic performance and sneaker culture. Stockists such as Très Bien point to the Air Max 95, Air Force 1 and Air Rift, along with limited collaborations with Bode and Travis Scott. The Jordan line also does fleece, described by Nike as everyday pieces built to stay in the mix.
