PETER DO

Peter Do was born in Biên Hòa, Vietnam, moved to the United States at 14 and studied fashion design at FIT in New York. He won the inaugural LVMH Graduate Prize in 2014, then worked at Celine under Phoebe Philo, and later under Derek Lam. He launched PETER DO in New York in 2018. The clothes are known for architectural tailoring, modular construction and a gender neutral approach, with traditional garments taken apart and rebuilt. He has been a CFDA Designer of the Year nominee and a finalist for the Woolmark and ANDAM prizes. In 2023 he became Creative Director of Helmut Lang, and has since left to focus on his own label. In 2025 he started PETER DO CLUB, offering made-to-order and limited pieces produced in New York and Japan.
