Polar Skate Co.

Polar Skate Co. comes from Malmo, Sweden, and was founded in 2011 by pro skater Pontus Alv. Alv was already known for his skate videos, "The Strongest Of The Strange" and "In Search Of The Miraculous", so starting a company followed naturally. The brand treats skateboarding with reverence rather than as a commodity, and the clothing is playful, graphic and functional. Alv draws the original graphics himself, taking cues from the '90s. The range covers hoodies, t-shirts, outerwear and trousers, including the 93 Denim, the Big Boy and the Surf Pant, all with a Scandinavian minimalist streak. Look for the circular stroke logo. Slam City lists it among its best sellers.
