Rick Owens

Rick Owens was founded in 1994 and has built a name on architectural tailoring, exaggerated proportions and a devotion to black. The look mixes goth, grunge and glam, and it reads as both underground and ultra-luxury. For menswear, the range covers tops, trousers, outerwear and cargo pants. The jagged-soled sneakers have a cult following, and the Geobasket is the one to look at first. There are also Converse collaborations that are in demand. If the mainline feels like a stretch, try DRKSHDW. This diffusion line debuted in 2005 and takes the same architectural shapes and shadowy palette into everyday garments. Owens has also worked with Moncler on collaborative collections.
