Sulvam is the work of Teppei Fujita, who trained as a pattern maker at Yohji Yamamoto before starting his own label. Tailoring sits at the centre of it. The clothes are cut with the freedom and instinct of improvised music, where the maker's sensibility and technical skill play off each other to produce something original that still sits comfortably on the wearer.
