Thames MMXX

Thames MMXX is the label of Blondey McCoy, a London skateboarder and artist. Slam City Skates says it is named after the river beside which his formative skateboarding years were spent. Slam watched him grow up around the shop, and he is now part of the Slam Team. His own account starts with a GCSE art project that became a brand when Slam City began stocking it in 2013. He went on to partner with Palace Skateboards, then closed that chapter in 2019, aged 21. He restarted Thames with three aims: to connect with people, to get his creative fix, and to represent British skateboarding in a fresh way. His first Adidas collaboration came at that point.
