Zimmerli

Zimmerli is a Swiss label that has been making underwear, sleepwear and loungewear since 1871, when Pauline Zimmerli started it. The garments are made from natural fibres, and Trunk Clothiers names Sea Island cotton, silk and supersoft merino wool. The house says 80% of its styles are made by hand, and 100% of its men's and women's underwear. Everything is designed in Switzerland, and certain nightwear and loungewear pieces come from long-standing certified partner companies in Europe. The range for men covers boxer shorts, boxer briefs, trunks, undershirts and long johns, plus pyjamas, robes, polo shirts, pullovers and jackets. Trunk describes the look as understated: clean lines and no overt branding, with comfort as the point.
