3sixteen

3sixteen is a New York brand that describes itself as first and foremost a denim company. Its modern history began in 2008 with the SL-100x, the first pair of jeans, made with a custom denim developed directly with Kuroki Mills in Okayama, Japan. The aim was a fabric that stands up to hard wear and shows real character as it ages. Everything on that jean, from the cut to the buttons, rivets, leather patch and stitch colour, was chosen for lasting quality and versatility. Since then it has added several fits in more than 10 fabrics, each meant to stay in the range for good. Its jeans are made in San Francisco, and the heavyweight T-shirts are worth a look too.
