Chup Socks

Chup Socks launched in 2008, made by Japanese textile specialists Glen Clyde, and the whole idea comes down to the toe seam. The socks are made in Japan from high-grade cotton and wool, and a specialised hand-linking machine joins the stitches on both sides of the toe with a single thread. That leaves a flat seam, so there is no ridge rubbing against your toes. The designs are colourful and rooted in ethnic culture from around the world, which makes them a good way to add some pattern to an otherwise plain outfit. The brand says the socks don't easily fall off, don't tighten, resist smells and stay comfortable through a full day of wear.
