Barnes & Moore makes leather goods by hand in England, and the pitch is simple: use the best leather and hardware available, and don't rush it. The range covers belts, wallets, watch straps, key fobs, luggage tags and a Despatch messenger bag. Some of the detail is properly specific. The flagship Japan series belt uses Japanese glazed Shonan leather with a hallmarked 925 Sterling silver buckle, made by silversmiths in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. Another belt is cut from 5-6mm oak bark tanned leather, custom produced by England's last remaining oak bark tannery. The Sportsman Mid Wallet is Japanese inspired and sized for a rear denim pocket. The brand says its pieces are made to develop a patina and improve with age.
