Belstaff

Belstaff is a British outerwear brand founded in 1924 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, by Eli Belovitch and Harry Grosberg. They began with waterproofing and functional clothing, and the first motorcycle clothing was made in a converted brewery, cottages and blacksmith's shop in Longton. Over the years the label has made protective suits for racing drivers, windproof smocks for Marines and insulating clothing for mountaineers. Stuarts London credits it with being the first company to use waxed cotton for breathable, waterproof motorcycling wear. The four-pocket Trialmaster jacket arrived in 1948. Today Belstaff makes field jackets in leather and waxed cotton, alongside clothing, footwear and accessories, with an Icons collection built to last.
