Grenson

Grenson is a shoemaker from Northamptonshire, making shoes in England since 1866. It began when William Green started work in a loft above the Corn Merchants in Rushden, and his was one of the first factories in the world to use the Goodyear Welted method. The name is a shortening of William Green and Sons, and it became one of the first trade names registered in the UK. Boots and shoes for soldiers in both world wars came out of the factory. Today brogues, boots and loafers sit at the heart of the range, often with a chunkier sole or an unexpected material, under creative lead Tim Little. Sneakers and sandals are made too.
