KESTIN is the namesake label of Kestin Hare, a trained menswear designer born and raised in Scotland. The brand is Edinburgh-born and draws on more than two decades of industry experience. Fabric comes first in his design process, followed by vintage research, fit and detail, and then finding the right factory. Expect shirts, trousers, outerwear and knitwear made in Scotland, with references from workwear, military, sports and outdoor archives. The trousers have names to look for, including the Clyde, Inverness and Doune Pant. AW26 looks to the Hebrides, with Shetland wools, houndstooth, herringbone, tartan and Fair Isles. Hare also says he wants to create jobs in Scotland and support craft industries.
