Carhartt WIP

Carhartt WIP, short for Work In Progress, is the European line of the American workwear company Carhartt, whose story starts in 1889 when Hamilton Carhartt made hard-wearing gear for railway workers and servicemen. The WIP side was established in Germany and adapts those workwear patterns for a contemporary fit. Expect heavy duck canvas, triple stitching and big pockets, cut a bit looser than the originals. The label grew out of art, music and skate scenes, and the Detroit jacket is one you'll spot everywhere. Look for the golden C or the American Script branding. As Oi Polloi puts it, built for site work, mostly worn for the walk from Piccadilly.
