FrizmWORKS

FrizmWORKS is a Seoul label founded in 2010 by An Jong Hyuk. The name comes from "Freeze" and "Prism", and the aim is to capture colour, texture and craft in their purest form. The clothes start from old military and workwear patterns, then get cut bigger than the originals. The oversize is the design, not a mistake. Expect heavy twills, washed cottons and utility pockets in places pockets did not use to go, plus balloon trousers, crisp shirts and outerwear of all kinds. The range also stretches to leather, denim and heavy wool knits, with down parkas that nod to retro mountaineering. Seams, fabric weight and proportion all get close attention.
