TAION is a Japanese down brand whose name means "body temperature" in Japanese. It started in Nagoya in 2016 with an inner down vest and an inner down cardigan, both thin enough to go under whatever coat you already own. Oi Polloi notes the down is 800 fill power, where most use 600, stitched after filling so it stays put. Urban Industry describes ranges for Basic, Military, City, Work and Mountain, using 90% down and 10% feather.
