Far Afield

Far Afield is an independent, family-run menswear brand founded in 2016 by brothers Mark and Chris Scholes. The team works between Brighton and Porto, and travel sits at the centre of how they design. Colour palettes come from landscapes, prints from folktales and the natural world, and textiles from the places that actually make them. Autumn/Winter '26 starts from Upper Mustang, Nepal. The range covers shirts, knits, shorts and trousers in cropped, pleated and drawstring cuts, and customers single out the shirts and knits. Off-Cuts, made with Célia Esteves of GUR, turned surplus fabric into ten woven pieces. If you're in Porto, the Design Studio & Sample Store is open to the public.
