Portuguese Flannel

Portuguese Flannel is a family-run shirt label from northern Portugal, now in its fourth generation. Brothers António and Manuel Magalhães founded it, drawing on decades of knowledge from the mills of Guimarães, where flannel is close to folklore. The shirts are made by master craftsmen in the old towns of the region, using exclusive fabrics produced the traditional way. Expect brushed cottons and soft flannels, plus Oxfords, prints, summer seersucker and linen. The Labura and Belavista overshirts are favourites, and there are herringbone jackets too. The label says it doesn't chase trends, and takes its cues from people who live on the coast and in the mountains.
