Edwin

Edwin began in 1947 in Tokyo, when Yonehachi Tsunemi started importing tough American denim piece by piece, at a time when Japan had no domestic mills able to make it. That start shaped everything after: decades of work on fabric, construction and washing. The label has developed its own ways of washing, dyeing and drying, and it purifies and recycles its water so well that Koi fish can swim in the result. Today Edwin describes itself as a progressive denim brand, mixing its Japanese background and craftsmanship with a European contemporary attitude.
