Anderson's

Anderson's makes belts in Parma, Italy, and has done since 1966. Carlo Valenti founded the business, and his children now run it. He chose an English name because he admired traditional British style, which is a nice detail to know when you're weighing up an Italian label with a very British-sounding name. The belts are made by hand by skilled artisans. The range covers braided and woven styles, distressed leather, suede and woven cotton, and the label is known for vegetable-tanned leather and calfskin. The makers describe the belts as colourful and built to last. Retailers position them for both formal and everyday wear, so one belt can sit comfortably with tailoring or with your weekend jeans.
