Goldwin

Goldwin is a Japanese sportswear label with its roots in skiing. It began in 1950 as a small knit fabric factory in Toyama Prefecture, and launched its own Goldwin line in 1958. In the 1960s the company turned its knitting know-how into ski sweaters that were both technical and smartly designed. Since 1987 it has supplied uniforms to the Swedish national ski team, and since 2017 it has sponsored the British Alpine Ski team and skier Dave Ryding. The Lifestyle collection arrived in Autumn/Winter 2016, aimed at city life with weekend escapes into nature. Stockists such as Oi Polloi carry Pertex Shield pullovers, ripstop shells and stretch trousers.
