Norda

Norda is a Canadian trail running shoe brand, based in Quebec between Montreal and the Eastern Townships. It was started by runners Nick and Willamina Martire, who couldn't find a trail shoe tough, light and fast enough for the terrain they wanted to cover, so they made one. The flagship Norda 001 uses a bio-based Dyneema upper, a fibre prized for its strength for the weight, paired with Vibram outsoles for grip on technical ground. The brand draws on the Canadian climate, aiming for shoes that cope with temperatures from -35°C to +35°C. Later models include the 002, with a lower stack for faster running, and the 003, made with HAVEN as a running and hiking hybrid.
