OLLY SHINDER

Olly Shinder started his namesake label in 2022, straight after finishing the BA at Central Saint Martins. His starting point is hypermasculine dress codes, which he studies and then turns on their head, changing how familiar garments are seen through unusual cuts, fabric choices and close attention to detail. The result is workwear with a "luxury utility" approach, pairing masculine tropes with soft fabrics for a subverted, techwear-leaning look. The aesthetic is rooted in pragmatism, with technical features borrowed from outerwear, hiking gear and workwear. Tres Bien and MACHINE-A both carry the collection, so it is worth a look if you like practical clothes with a twist.
