Jil Sander

Jil Sander is a label built on minimalism, and it started in Hamburg in the late 1960s. Stockists describe a focus on form and a pared-back, modern approach, with a bit of edge. The first men's collection showed in Milan in January 1997, after the brand's success in womenswear. Expect clean, comfortable silhouettes and good tailoring, including trousers, coats and shirts, alongside sweatshirts, jackets, knitwear and t-shirts. In 2025 Simone Bellotti became Creative Director, following the departure of Lucie and Luke Meier. He has put a sharper focus on tailoring and craftsmanship, with a design language described as poetic yet functional. It sits at the luxury end of menswear.
