Stepney Workers Club

Stepney Workers Club is an independent London footwear brand, founded in 2018 in East London. The name comes from the original Workers Sports Club, an anti-fascist sports group in the East End in the early 20th century. Its handshake logo and motto, "Freedom of Sport, Freedom of Thought", nod to that inclusive, free-thinking spirit. The shoes are vulcanized cupsole and running styles. The Dellow is the signature: a low-top with high-wall foxings, a deconstructed upper, a cushioned sole and a concealed siped tread for grip. The Lister slip-on and high-top Varden sit alongside it, and there is a small apparel line too. Autumn/Winter brings soft grey suede and heavyweight tumbled leather.
