Timberland

Timberland is an American footwear brand, best known for durable, functional shoes and boots. The story that stockists like to tell starts with the yellow boot from 1973, when the Abington Shoe Company of New Hampshire worked out how to mould a rubber sole straight onto a leather upper. With no stitches, there was nowhere for water to get in. The boot did so well that the company renamed itself after it. Nubuck, padded collars and waterproofing are all still part of that boot today. The label also makes classic boat shoes, sometimes called deck shoes. These pair a premium leather upper with a non-slip rubber sole, and they suit casual, everyday outfits.
