Fjallraven Samlaren

Samlaren means "the gatherer", and the name is the whole idea. It is a Fjällräven line made from whatever fabric is left at the end of production. That echoes 1964, when Åke Nordin kept the offcuts from the Thermo Tent and turned them into the first Greenland Jacket. Each run is small: jackets, overshirts, caps, bucket hats and a reversible vest. The latest is a hundred percent cotton ripstop in Mountain Blue and Field Orange. Because it is built from leftovers, Fjällräven cannot make more, so when a run sells out it is gone for good. Oi Polloi stocks it as an authorised stockist.
