Left Hand x Meanforme

Left Hand and Meanforme are covered here as two separate names. Meanforme was born in Manchester, England, and makes handcrafted footwear using traditional methods. Every pair starts with a hand-engineered Mean forme, the paper silhouette of a shoe last that shoemakers once used to cut upper patterns. The Risedale boot came first, and styles are refined by a Portuguese development team, with natural crepe soles and good leathers. Left Hand was set up by Massimo Osti in 1993, after C.P. Company and Stone Island. Its current range works from his archive: technical outerwear, sweatshirts and overshirts. Oi Polloi is an authorised stockist.
