Iron Heart is a label built around Japanese selvedge denim, and it takes the material seriously. Its signature jeans use long staple cotton woven into 21 oz heavy denim, finished with a leather patch, and the brand is obsessive about every stage of production. You can find it at Rivet & Hide. The cuts are easy to navigate by number. The 634 is the signature straight cut, loosely based on the 1966 Levi's 501. The 555 is the slimmest, the 777 is tapered with a lower rise, and the 1955 is a vintage high-rise inspired by the 1955 501. Beyond jeans there are work shirts, including the Ultra Heavy flannels released each season. These are shuttle loomed from Aspero cotton grown in Peru, and many devotees wait for them.
