Kardo

Kardo is a New Delhi menswear label, launched in 2013 as the opposite of mass-produced fast fashion. The idea was to slow things down and pay attention to small details, taking cues from traditional Indian craft textiles and giving classic silhouettes subtle twists. The fabrics are the draw: natural dyed handloom, block printing, ikat, natural indigo denim, shibori and chikankari embroidery. Kardo works directly with handloom weaving communities across India, and its recent Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, Daftar, uses hand-spun khadi from Udyog Bharti and bandhani made with Khamir Crafts in Gujarat. Every piece follows the ONExONE method. One tailor cuts, sews and hand-finishes it from start to finish, and their name is on the tag inside.
