Mister Freedom

Mister Freedom is a Los Angeles label run by owner and designer Christophe Loiron. His clothes are built on what the brand calls an original script and story, with fictitious characters set against a historical background. The idea is not reproduction or chasing trends. It is historically plausible clothes that never existed but could have, drawing on a deep love of vintage garments. Since 2006 the label has worked with Japanese makers Sugar Cane/Toyo Enterprises on the MFSC line. Christophe does all the designs, the fabrics are milled in Japan, and garments are assembled in both Japan and the USA. The Los Angeles HQ has a shop on the ground floor selling vintage pieces and MF originals, with the design studio, atelier and archives upstairs.
