Viberg Boots has been making footwear since 1931, and it is still a family business, now run by the third generation. The company is best known for the Service Boot. Glen Viberg is personally involved in the production of each boot, while Brett Viberg looks through the archives for silhouettes from the past and adapts each style to suit modern tastes. Every pair goes through over 200 steps, all done by skilled craftspeople at the workshop in Victoria, British Columbia. Specialist methods rarely used elsewhere go into the building. Leathers come from tanneries in the USA and Italy. If you want a boot with real workshop pedigree behind it, this is a good name to know.
