Anonymous Ism

Anonymous Ism is a Japanese sock brand founded in 2002 by Hirotsugu Yoshimura. The socks are knitted in Nara, the prefecture that has made most of Japan's socks for over a century, and everything is made in Japan. The brand uses restored 1970s knitting machines that run slowly to keep the natural tension and texture of the yarn, which gives its slubby feel. Yarns include organic cotton, hemp and recycled fibres, and the patterns draw on Americana, indigo dyeing and military looks.
