Norrøna

Norrøna is a Norwegian outdoor label, founded in 1929 by Jørgen Jørgensen to make gear that could cope with the country's harsh terrain. It is still family-run, now across four generations. Its design approach is called Loaded Minimalism: clean on the surface, technically dialled in underneath. The brand is credited with pioneering mountain tunnel tents and bringing Gore-Tex to Europe, with its first Gore-Tex jacket arriving in 1977. Today the range covers mountain biking, trail running, hiking and everyday wear, from GORE-TEX Pro shells to Flex1 stretch softshell. Many of its packs and accessories use recycled Econyl nylon made from waste such as old fishing nets.
