Opensider takes classic sporting shapes and makes them tough enough for everyday wear. The ribbed collar, the block stripe and the boxy body all feature, reissued in 300gsm heavyweight jersey made from 100% GOTS organic cotton. Everything is pre-washed, so you skip the first-wash shrinkage and stiffness and can wear a piece straight off the hanger. The Classic Rugby Shirt is the clearest example, cut from a vintage sports pattern and offered in tri-stripe, wide-stripe and multi-stripe colourways. Urban Industry says it is heavy enough to wear alone through a mild autumn and thin enough to layer under an overshirt later. The label describes its clothes as made for the pitch and the pub.
