AMI Paris

AMI Paris was founded in Paris in 2011 by Alexandre Mattiussi, who is still its creative director. He started the label at 30, after years in Parisian couture houses where he learned men's tailoring and French sartorial skill, and that background shows in the clean tailoring and soft handle of the clothes. The range is built around everyday basics that sit between smart and casual: t-shirts, hoodies, sweats, cardigans and jackets. Knitwear is a cornerstone, with the cardigan and jumper as standouts. You'll spot the A with a heart logo, the Ami de Coeur, which is Mattiussi's personal signature. It's embroidered across knits, shirts and outerwear. The label makes clothes for both men and women.
