Maison Kitsuné
Maison Kitsuné was created in 2002 by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, and it started as more than a clothing brand. It also runs a music label, Kitsuné Musique, and coffee shops, Café Kitsuné. The name joins the French word for house with the Japanese word for fox, and the fox is the label's signature logo. It shows up on the tees and sweaters, sometimes in blue, white and red. The clothes are laid-back, city-smart everyday pieces, described as a mix of Paris and Tokyo influences. The Parisien line pairs the tricolour fox with French slogans such as Parisien and Parisienne. The label has worked with J.M. Weston, Oliver Peoples, New Era, Reebok Classic and the NBA, and runs its own stores in Paris, New York, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hong Kong and Honolulu.
