Rhude

Rhude is a Los Angeles label founded by Rhuigi Villaseñor in 2015. It sets luxury techniques against streetwear elements, and the collections are ready-to-wear: graphic tees, hoodies, shirts, caps, jackets and relaxed trousers. Villaseñor has no formal fashion training. He credits his grasp of how garments are built to growing up with a mother who was a tailor. He also studied art history and interned for Shaun Samson. The clothes lean on American iconography and nostalgic references, with boxy silhouettes and bold graphics. Each collection is designed as a story, and the brand's path follows Villaseñor's own, from adolescence to maturity. Rhude showed at Paris Men's Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2020.
