Kith

Kith started in New York in 2011, built by Ronnie Fieg, who worked his way up from stock boy to chief buyer at footwear retailer David Z before striking out on his own. That retail grounding shows in the range: a mix of in-house apparel and footwear alongside a tightly chosen set of outside labels, from Common Projects and Filling Pieces to Balenciaga, Maison Margiela and Kiko Kostadinov, with sneaker culture (G-Shock, Stance, CDG Homme) running through it all. Each of its 17 shops folds in an ice cream parlour, part of a wider hospitality habit that includes full-service restaurants. The edit sits at the crossing point of streetwear, designer and heritage menswear, leaning on nostalgia and well-picked collaborators rather than logos alone.
